Research Interests

  • The physical, geochemical and biological processes and conditions in the hyporheic zone of the lower Fraser River, Vancouver.
  • Arsenic in the Bengal Basin. Project sponsored by the Geological Survey of Canada and the Geological Survey of India. Also collaborating with Charles Harvey on his Bangladesh-based project.
  • A study of neutral - drainage from mine waste rock at the Antamina Mine in Peru.
  • New approaches to scale up models of reactive transport in porous media.
  • Characterization strategies in integrated surface-water groundwater systems.
  • Application of self potential methods to characterize hydrogeological properties of the subsurface.
