NSERC PGS- Master's (PGS-M) and PGS-Doctoral (PGS-D) Award Holders

Effective September 1, 2003:

• Incoming Masters students to Earth and Ocean Sciences who hold an NSERC PGS-M scholarship will receive a UBC top-up of $4,000.
• Incoming PhD students in Earth and Ocean Sciences who hold an NSERC PGS-D scholarship will receive a departmental top-up of $3,000 per year.
• Currently enrolled Earth and Ocean Sciences graduate students who are successful in securing a new NSERC scholarship will receive a departmental top-up of $3,000 per year.
• Students will receive subsequent $3,000 departmental top-ups if they retain their NSERC scholarship for more than one year.

All amounts are quoted in Canadian dollars.
