• nOVEMBER 17tH 2008
• We will try to go flying this weekend, more details to come. Also, email/bring a picture of the the most dangerous weather event you can find to our next meeting. There will be a prize for the winner.

• October 23tH 2008
• We are changing the meeting times. There will be no meeting this Friday (Oct. 24th) Members, please fill out our new doodle which will determine our new meeting times.

• October 21tH 2008
• The hiking trip to Lynn Peak was a huge success. Anyone who was on the hike and would like to have pictures posted on our website please forward them to Daniel. Hiking Pictures can be seen here, hopefully more to come.

• October 18tH 2008
• Friday's meeting finalized the hiking trip to Lynn Peak. Details of the trip can be found here. We are also pleased to announce that Brian Wong is our new SUS rep.

• OCTOBER 6th 2008
• Last Friday's meeting covered a few issues club wise. For events, the hiking trip to Lynn Peak will be on Oct. 19th rain or shine, and our first flying trip will be on Nov. 2nd weather permitting. More info to come regarding these events.
• The UBC Storm Club is in need of a new SUS representative. Please email us for position information if you are interested.
• Finally, we welcome any event/activity suggestions you guys have, so send them to us.

• October 1st 2008
• Meetings have now been set up for Fridays at 3:00 in the EOS Main second floor library conference room.

• September 22nd 2008
• Club Days was a great success, with over 60 new people who signed up. An official welcome and information email has been sent out to everyone that signed up on our mailing list.
• Our fist event will be the icebreaker. Please RSVP by replying to the Storm Club email if you are planning on attending.
• Also, please fill out the survey for what weekly meeting times work best for you.

• September 16th 2008
• For those planning to help out during club days, please fill out the times you can man the booth.
• In other "news", be sure to watch CTV News and see if Bobby's weather predictions for Metro Vancouver are accurate as he fills in for Jesse. (For those who don't know, Bobby was last year's Storm Club President.)

• September 8th 2008
• Thank you to everyone who came to our first meeting. Although we didn't look at the weather, we planned out some events, what the club will be doing, and recruitment information. All the details of the message Geoff sent out can be seen here.

• September 4th 2008
• Welcome back to school! We would like to touch base with everyone to make sure we're prepared for clubs days and the upcoming year in general. A meeting early next week would be ideal. The suggestion is to have it Monday (the 8th) at 3pm, location still pending. Please email us to let us know if that time will work for you.

• May 2nd 2008
• Our flying trip out of Boundary Bay Airport was a real treat. Thanks again Geoff! Photos of the trip can be found here.

• April 28th 2008
• Due to weather issues, the flying trip at Boundary Bay Airport will be moved to Wednesday, April 30th. It will be at the same time, ie: meet at UBC in front of EOS at 7:00am for those not getting picked up along the way.

• April 26th 2008
• Hope everyone's exams went well. The flying trip at Boundary Bay Airport will be this Monday, the 28th. We will be carpooling to the airport; meet at UBC for pickup (specific location has yet to be determined) unless you are getting picked up on the way to or from UBC. Enjoy your summer break!

• April 8th 2008
• Our CTV tour was a blast. Got a great tour of the place and sat down and chatted with Jesse and Tamara. We also did a 40 second TV shoot that was on the "CTV News at Six, April 8" program. The clip of that shoot along with the lone picture we took can be found here.
